The Unknown Brothers are a songwriting duo comprising of singer and lyricist Andrew Harper and guitarist Ciaran Ryan, from Swansea, UK. Drawing on an eclectic range of influences between them, from 60s British Invasion bands like The Kinks and The Beatles through Britpop to the modern day (okay, they'd concede maybe the mid-2000s), they would describe their music as melodic indie pop-rock. You can expect infectious melodies, a retro vibe, and songs that don't overstay their welcome.

Good friends first, united by a love of music, the two have dabbled with making songs on and off for many years, but recently knuckled down and produced their first album 'These Truths Remain Unspoken', which they recorded, mixed and mastered themselves on an Ipad.

This was all about the acoustic guitar, but their next releases suggest a shift towards a more electric sound, while retaining their characteristic style.

Despite the minor inconvenience of a global pandemic, they have been flat out writing songs over recent months, which they are currently putting the finishing touches to. Stay tuned for consistent releases.
